This is my highest feet-on-the-ground altitude so far. Me and some friends took a ski lift (my first) up to Pizolhütte from Vilters-Wangs in Switzerland. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and this is just the very edge of the alps. I can only imagine what it feels like to be at the top of a mountain right in the thick of it.
